     The learner can;


        a)  Visit the main physical features within his/her immediate environment.

        b)  Identify the main physical features in the county.

        c)  Describe ways through which we can take care of physical features.
        d)  Construct a model comprising of different physical features using available
            materials such as cartons, clay,glue,cotton wool,manila papers,  plastics,

            cardboards, paint/coloured pencils/crayons among others
        e)  Write a short essay on the importance of the main physical features in the

            county.



     Task description.


     With the guidance of parents/ guardians/teachers learners will:


         a) Observe pictures or watch video clips on different physical features.
         b) Collect pictures from magazines, calendars or old newspapers or take
            photographs of different physical features in the county using available

            digital devices.

         c) Identify different types of trees found in the forest.
         d) Individually construct a model of physical features using the available

            materials.
         e) Individually draw, colour and name the physical features found in the
            county.
         f)  Create a photomontage on the importance of caring for physical features.

            (photomontage is a collection of different types of pictures from books,

            newspapers, digital media to create a pictorial composition)

         g) Individually make an observation log for the visit to Karura forest.

         h) Fill the questionnaire after visiting the forest.
