MUSIC GRADE FOUR
WEEK ONE: 9th April 2021
Activity 1. Making a simple drum
Materials:
A container/tin
A strong polythene bag
A strong string
A cutting tool
Use the materials above to make a simple drum.
Take a photo of the drum made and put it in the portfolio.
Use the drum to accompany music at home.
WEEK TWO 16th APRIL 2021
Activity two: Making a simple shaker.
Materials:
Bottle tops
A piece of wire
A Y-shaped piece of wood
A nail (for making holes)
-Use the materials above to make a shaker
-Take a photo of the shaker and put it in the portfolio
-Use the shaker and the drum to accompany music
-Record the performance using a digital device.
-Share the video with friends and siblings.
